KPMG-- for rental cars, is insurance automatically covered by Diners? Concur pushed back my liability expense portion of the Hertz bill saying it is automatically included and not reimbursable.

Yes, they were correct. Read the policy 🤦‍♀️

likefunny

Correct, Diners covers liability which Hertz would not know. Also, don’t listen to them, they are trying to upsell you on everything.

like

In addition to DC the firm has master agreements with Avis Hertz etc that cover you. Why did you even add this? You can’t do it in Concur.

like

Ugh. Thanks all!!!

Read the policy. I think there is even a disclaimer in the car rental process in concur

KPMG uses Diners?

@consultant1 @kpmg1 @kpmg2 so.. I rented this morning and Hertz said collision is covered yes, but not liability. I'll be calling HR to walk through the policy details.

@kpmg2 I didn't do it in concur... Added at pickup. I don't have my own coverage at all since I live in NYC with no car... wanted to be sure I'm covered.. even if I had to pay myself 🤷🏽‍♀️ live and learn

@pwc i hope youve figured that out 😉

Anyone hiring those who have been out of work for a year? I took time off to tend to personal matters, but I am now looking to get back into the workforce again. I don’t mind audit. However, I’d prefer it not to be at a B4, as I am looking for some semblance of a work life balance.

I’m working 50 hour weeks with no breaks to keep up with the demand, there is minimal training or support, I can’t work hybrid yet, I get 24/7 phone calls, and they’ve asked me to travel once a month for the remainder of the year. At this point, I’m only staying for fear of how it will look on my resume.
