My role was just eliminated, and I need to replace it quickly. I have a solid lead on a new job but based on the job description I think it’s gonna be a lot less than I was making. I’ve seen people on one of the bowls mention working 2 full time jobs, like in different time zones or countries. Does anyone have any concrete advice on how to start that process? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Currently working at T2 consulting firm in Aus and looking to break into the industry in the US (pref NYC/SF/Chicago/Boston). Have citizenship but am concerned my credentials / degree (high GPA, top Aus uni but nothing like top US) won’t carry enough weight to get me into a similar role. Anyone have advice / tips / etc?

Any advice on decreasing phone usage? I’ve been spending way too much time scrolling - for some reason whenever I want to wind down I end up grabbing my phone. Even when I do give myself the time to scroll mindlessly, it’s not restful at all. Need more tips on how to do it without “just don’t look at your phone”. I’ve gone on and off with deleting apps that I look at, but I’ll find some way or the other to be staring at my phone needlessly.

I just got a job as an Onboarding Lead (their 1st onboarder) at a small start up.
My job will be onboarding/assisting new clients in our platform. I’ve had 6 yrs of tech support and customer success management experience, but as a 100% onboarding role I am looking for resources on how to build/develop an Onboarding program and team.

I'm in monaqo, I just got promoted with 52% hike From 12.5LPA to 19LPA(18 Fix,1 Var) and increased notice period from 45D to 90D. Every year I get hike betwn 20-25%. I spent 5 years here. But this hike didn't motivated me because I'm saturated here. Now got offer from freshmenu giving only 25% hike(24 Fix,0 Var) but ready to wait 90D NP. They saying I already got good hike, our budget is only 24LPA, Notice Period is high and we are considering only fixed part. Is it worth accepting offer? YOE-7
