Hi fishes, I am Java micro-services developer with 5 years of experience. Currently working with IBM since last 1 year. I am holding an offer from Infosys. Assuming IBM will match my offer. What is a better choice for long term considering job security, work life balance etc IBM or Infosys? Pros and cons please. TIA

Why not both? How many days are you going? I did Kyoto and Tokyo in 10 days. Both are amazing, unique cities that are both a must see if you’re already in Japan.
I would say both, especially if you’re able to be in Japan for a week
Getting between the two isn’t that difficult with Japan’s awesome transportation.
If you’re set on exploring one, I feel it’s really if you enjoy the city or a bit more nature (Kyoto), I really don’t think you can go wrong with either.
Go "hiking" in Kyoto near Arashiyama! You can see monkeys and a view of the whole city.
I preferred Kyoto - but easy to do both on the train with a stop in nara to see the crazy bowing deer
Look into going to Osaka! It was extremely similar to Tokyo, but a lot less crowded and a little cheaper. It’s also a 30min train ride to Kyoto, making it a very doable day trip.
Agree with both. Super easy train and if the weather is nice you’ll get a beautiful view of Mt Fuji!
Have 5 nights and flying into HND and out of NRT
I’d recommend the kyoto Westin. They’re undergoing renovations and have beautiful new suites with a great view.
When? The Rugby World Cup happens from Sept-Oct this year. Might cause booking problems if you are going at that time.
Short notice, 2 weeks from now
Whoa. Until this post I did not realize that Kyoto was an anagram of Tokyo. 🤯🤯🤯
If you're only going to be there for 5 days, I'd stick with Tokyo, possibly with 1 or 2 day trips (to Nikko and/or Kamakura)
Kyoto if you like a more chill/nature-y vibe. Tokyo if you like big city vibes. Food is great in both. I personally enjoyed kyoto more.
