Pass on waxing. Laser is hands down the best money you'll ever spend
I don't have a package but it is the least painful wax I have ever had!
I use for eyebrow, lip and Brazilian. Your first time you get a discount on the packages. They never expire I had left over ones from 4 yrs ago and they honored the package. I have tried various estheticians but pleased that it doesn’t make me breakout as much
Sugaring is the way to go!
I have to say it does depend on the aesthetician. I love it because being on the road so damn much I had the tendency to go too long in between and paid dearly. I have specific people Intrust and go to at each location. It’s made life easier and no, they are NOT the cheapest in terms of waxing.
Maybe try it first and then go in for the package? They have locations in a bunch of cities. I've been to a few different locations before and it was a relatively quick and definitely less painful process since they use hard wax. I'd help any place that uses hard wax, read reviews (including cleanliness), and make the decision from there when I'm in a different city. I usually only opt for that when I'm in smaller cities that wouldn't have multiple places with hard wax services offered
I love EWC!! You can stick with one person or go to a different once each time. Their wax is amazing! People that have hair left over - that happens with any wax- sometimes hair is ingrown or worst just not thick enough to get caught. Go a week after your period for less pain and also for the Brazilian instruct them specifically to get all the hair on your bum - if you feel they don’t put the wax everywhere.
I’ve bought 2 Brazilian packages (9 visits) and always use them. I won’t go anywhere else. Love it.
Hell yes, go for it. Have been their customer for the past 3 years. You need to make regular visits to see the benefits. Find an aesthetician that has the “magic touch” and stick with it
C2: unfortunately laser is not a viable option for everyone because of skin tone. I’ve been waxing for almost 15 years and each time an aesthetician asks if I’ve been doing it very long. Sometimes it’s just shit luck and stubborn follicles. The volume of hair has thinned but those left behind are still stubborn as hell.
Also, making sure to exfoliate regularly and not let skin get dry in that area helps with hair removal in the long term
I get Brazilians. European Wax does the quickest wax sessions I've ever had. Their wax allows the waxer to apply a large swath of wax at a time. I'm out in 15 minutes and back to my office before my lunch break is even over. Unfortunately, the small boutique waxing spots, which I would rather support, have weeks-long waitlists for appointments. Sometimes, I want to be spontaneous, but they won't let me.
Terrible ingrowns from EWC-never had them in my life from shaving or any other waxing
Agreed A2. The fragrance was a ridiculous add
I tried it for Brazilian and they left a bunch of hair! Super frustrating. Haven’t been back since. You have to realize EWC is the McDonald’s of waxing they are everywhere and cheapest and you get what you pay for. I would use them for cheap one-offs like eyebrow or lip but not for anything else
I went several times and had a terrible Brazilian once. I get them all the time and it was literally traumatizing - haven't been back since
Not a fan at all. Painful and the hairs grow back fast. I went to a place that does threading and sugaring. Easy breezy cover girl
C2 doesn't laser require multiple visits
I didn't really like European Wax, but had a good experiencing with Sugaring and also Thread Salon (they do waxing too)
Like someone said earlier, not all estheticians are created equal. The boutique spots are more thorough and take their time. I had a newbie for my last session. She would pull the wax before it had fully dried. She kept reapplying the wax to the same areas to get all of the hair out. I left with threads of wax everywhere. She didn't clean it all off. Most estheticians get at least 95% of the hair out.
@A4, they always have that package. They just keep changing how much you can buy at a time. It used to be Buy 6, Get 1 or 2. Now, it's Buy 9, Get 3, so the individual packages are more expensive now.
