AD title lined and make them match the pay and title or leave. However, I wouldn’t plan to stay somewhere like this longterm.

It might be a power move to put together a plan to organically grow the account with proactive recommendations that will align with their business goals. Consider areas of the agency that are not currently being tapped for the account and how they may help move the needle for your clients. Show your leadership and ask for the role, fallback is roadmap/plan with timing to get there. Good luck!! 💪🏼
You need to have an explicit conversation about this with your manager. Move away from the implicit “hinted at” to drafting a plan together that leads you into the AD role.
