Acceptable but ugly

Yes but I disagree on peep toe being interview appropriate. Fine for the office though!

like

Yes just don’t have them show your heel or full open toes. Peep toes are ok!

Of course! These Nude pumps are my go to shoes for steercos and other big meetings

Thank you all!! 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️ Went with a pointy nude coach heel. They’re my comfiest pair and will be great for an all day interview visit day!

like

Generally, style is more important than color. If you’re talking nude pumps / closed toe wedges , absolutely yes.

You’re fine and thinking too much into this! Wear what will make you do your best in your interview (that’s professional), of all things to worry about your shoes should not be it!- a kellogg alum

Bcg where did u buy those shoes?

They are Vince- I can’t find them retail anymore, but have bought replacement pairs (have them in black as well) on eBay/posh mark, etc

I thought wedges are not formal too. Only court shoes , Mary Janes , Peep toes are considered formals

Wedges are fine as long as they aren’t like the ones with the grass on them (what are those called!!! Omg 🤦🏼‍♀️) Peeps are totally fine. The only time Inwould never wear peeps is if you ever interview with a casino. They are STRICT! I interned with Wynn and we could only wear black, navy or dark gray suits with white button downs, hose and heeled shoes completely close toed. It was.... intense. B-school interviews are not as intense. I wore a black suit, black wedges and bright green shirt to mine and nailed offers at Wharton, McCombs and Rice. It’s about not wearing something distracting and having good answers.

Wear them all the time.

I’ve been feeling really down about my job lately. Last night I randomly applied for a job at EY-P that I thought I perfectly fit the bill for. Within 12 hours I was reached out from a recruiter and was asked to schedule an interview. Even if it doesn’t go much farther It feels like the confidence boost I needed to know there are other options out there for me.

What am I worth in terms of TC? SDE, 6 YOE, background at a startup and 2 mid-level companies, MS degree. Assuming I'm desirable enough for interviews at a handful of good places. Not based on a previous salary, just objectively.

Hey guys! So I interviewed with McKinsey Digital: Round 1, interview 2: case + PEI. It went pretty well (at least according to me) but it has been an entire week since I’ve heard anything from them. I’m getting really anxious now but I also don’t want to show my anxiety to the recruiter which is why I haven’t sent an email to check in. Is it normal for them to take this long and should I still be hopeful for a positive response?

I’m an Analytics Consultant looking for industry roles as a data analyst/BI Developer. I’ve had a few recruiters and job postings ask directly for a dashboard sample. Did you end up making a dashboard with public data solely for industry interviews?
