I never wear tights
P1- and I am happy that not everyone thinks that way. God forbid I show some shin!
Not unless it's cold or dress is too short
Tomorrow I'm going bare legged and unshaved just for you P1
I always wear tights, even if nude.
I wear nude stockings, not tights. I think going bare legged at work is incredibly unprofessional.
When it's cold I'm always in tights/stockings. I have black, blue and grey. During warm weather I go bare legs.
I wear dresses/skirts everyday. Have worked on the east coast for several years and there are no nude tights there. I am super, super pale and always felt off without tights. Discovered MAC body make-up this summer for legs. Makes a huge difference on pasty white skin. Wear black tights in winter, but no longer wear anything during warmer months.
I've found that folks on the east coast always wear tights, even nude shade. On west coast it's relatively unheard of, even if more formal.
If it is in financial services, maybe. I have had many clients the east coast and have never worn tights aside from black when it is cold
I should note, I basically use "tights" interchangeably with "stockings", even if that isn't quite correct. So I guess I meant nude stockings, if that makes a difference to anyone.
East coast director here- I very rarely wear tights/stockings. Usually only black if it's cold.
We must be "nasty women" to PwC1 😂
In the south almost no one wears them anymore unless it's cold 👌🏼
In NYC and never wear tights for the pst 5 years. FSO. I've observed only interns wear tights
I'm sad for you PWC1
Opaque hose, not tights
Wearing a suit- skirt with bare feet looks ssuper odd
@OP: Check Policy. When I joined the firm two years ago, my local HR contact specifically told me that tights/hose/stockings are required if wearing a dress or skirt. Trouser socks or knee-highs can be worn with trousers.
@OP. Dress code specifically says we need to wear stockings/pantyhose/tights. Err on the side of caution until you get a better understanding of your client environment and if they are more lax with the dress code. (On the bright side, pantyhose have the added benefit of serving as shape wear and preventing your feet from getting sweaty in your shoes.)
