Ladies! I’m traveling to Boston in the fall and know there will be a lot of walking involved. Any walking shoe recommendations for touring during the days and also going out/walking to dinner and bars in the evenings? Thank you!

Cole Haan oxfords
Have also had luck with Naturalizer— black leather sneakers + black pants are always a safe bet.

All birds! I have a zillion walking shoes, but always come back to this.

Huge all birds fan. I like their sneakers even more than Brooks. Their flats are really great as well.

Brooks running shoes have saved my feet.
For stylish walking shoes I agree with BAH1.
UGG has some cute options, too.

Any advice for asking to work from home?
I started my job just over a month ago and the one day a week I work from home I absolutely love. I have an hour commute to the office all other days and I'd love to even just get one more day at home. My manager is not aware of my adhd and I have crippling fear and shame around it so I'd rather not tell him. The office environment I'm in is honestly any neuroduvergent's nightmare. I know it's probably wrong to not tell him but I don't want any judgement.

My spouse and I met at a rave 7 years ago. At the time we were dabbling in various recreational drugs (acid, mushrooms, weed, k, molly, alcohol etc), but over the years we've slowly cut back drug use.

I've always been v connected to the rave scene, and before I ever tried drugs I would attend events sober. These days, w my career and where I'm at in life, I'm back to going sober.

2months ago, he decided to white knuckle sobriety (except alcohol 🙄) and has become v judgemental of ravers contd

But I keep thinking there’s no way I can go through depression knowing how excited I am to meet the baby. Can you please share what feelings you had during your postpartum journey? Do you still go through it even with a positive mindset and help from your partner or family?

Anyone have recommendations for therapists in the LA area who have experience working with folks in big law or lawyers generally? My level of anxiety has gone through the roof over the last year and think I’ll benefit from some talk therapy to work through all my stress. Thanks!

I bounced from consulting last year, but very much hate my current role. The company is well known and large, but not very transparent or concerned about treating employees well. I have a vacation planned for end of August, but I got an offer this week. PTO is not paid out and I can't quit and use vacation to extend my 2 week notice.

Thoughts on how to handle? Give 1 week notice. Give notice 1 week before vacation and offer to work 1 week after vacation. Don't want to lose my 7 PTO days.

I'm looking at applying to MBB (Preferably BCG) for a summer internship this summer. I'm a first-gen Oxbridge student, and while I have little experience in consulting along the lines of MBB, I did work in the city last summer as an sustainability consultant.

I'm curious how important it is to have a referral etc and what you'd recommend for applications opening in jan. Any advice is super appreciated I don't have any connections to the industry but it's something im interested in.
