220 base (just got a raise), 40k bonus incl retention, 12 years of experience, bachelors, MCOL and didn't have to adjust salary when I moved south in 2021 🤷‍♀️

Tech consulting. Also, salary could be higher but I work 40 hours every week and have decent flexibility in my schedule which is important because of fertility struggles and baby hopes

I'm in Salesforce consulting and have been doing Salesforce for over a decade. AMA!

You can make money in anything tech consulting related if you get certifications, work on communication skills and executive presence, and build a network.

DM me if you need advice!

I feel like I’m definitely underpaid but here it goes: base $77k +11% bonus. Position: Consultant for IT and Human service projects. Masters degree in Criminology, PMP, certified in Tableau analytics with 4 years project management experience, also another 5 years experience in administration & training

likesmart

We are hiring in this area. Starting pay is significantly higher. DM me.

I hope no one looks at these salaries and feels bad. Don’t compare yourself, there are so many nuances, niche skills, and factors that go into pay, not just education and total yrs of experience (which often doesn’t count, it’s the relevant years that matter).

likeupliftinghelpfulfunny

I find it helpful tbh. Before my friend clued me in to the consulting world, I was stuck in a dead end job making 40k in a HCOL area. I'm making double that now and learning I can move and double it again. Would never have known if no one talked about it

Left my audit job to become a full time day trader. Self employed $2M, 4YOE

Wow incredibly inspiring! I know I don't have the talent for day trading so I won't risk that route lol but I love that you found your wings and flew!

Man I am feeling underpaid! Hahaha. $115k base + variable bonus. 9 YOE 🥹 great to see these ladies killing it.

Starting to realize that!

$380,825 TC ($201,500 base)

By 1.5yoe, I meant consulting experience at my current firm, LEK, we hire all PhDs (LS and otherwise), the starting base is 145k for PhD hires (TC around 190k), the base and TC go up to 160 and 220 after a year (first promotion).

88k (but moving firms in 2 weeks and will be jumping to 115k+bonus), almost 3 YOE, BBA, HCOL

likeuplifting

Congratulations!!

Tech Consulting: 182k + bonus (12%-25%). 5yoe, MS, HCOL. Going for a promo 🤞🏽

Good luck!

🤩 at all the ladies in this bowl just killing it! Grew up dirt poor so seeing all these crazy numbers make me so proud. $155K, 10 YOE, although only 3 in consulting.

likeuplifting

Completely agree! When I got my offer as an Analyst at Accenture 11 years ago making $65K I thought I had hit the lottery. Then I remember that feeling when I got my manager promotion and passed a $100K salary, I thought I had totally made it. It's so exhilarating to see all of the boss ladies on this thread killing it! 🤑

like

$650TC (expected - but good chance it’s higher, base + cash bonus + equity), 12 YOE, MBA; now in industry

likeuplifting

Industry is less of a driver of my comp than the fact that is a mid sized private company; WLB varies widely week to week but is meh. Will be doing this for a few more years and then looking for something easier which will likely result in a decent drop in TC. Which I’m ok with.

like

I’ll start! 75k, 3YOE, BA, definitely looking to improve!

likeuplifting

You've got this OP! I started as an Analyst at Accenture making 65K 11 years ago and was at about your base salary at 3 YOE before my Consultant promotion. Only up from here! 🚀

I joined @mindtree in Jan 2022. Suddenly there is a 10k deduction in salary in the month of April. The salary slip say 10k deduction as INCOME TAX. So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis." Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ? How can i recover that 10k every month?
