Hi Amazonians,
I am looking for guidance.
I am going to start interview process with Amazon next week. Probably all rounds will be done in 1-2 day time frame.
How/what should I prepare for interview?
Am clueless on what kind of ds & algo questions, system design questions are asked in Amazon interviews.
My techstack: javascript developer- react+Angular.
1. Pls guide me on what/how to prepare?
2. Also, will the interview be solely on da & algo and javascript; or on Js frameworks?

I dropped 20 lbs. over 3 months walking outdoors everyday - didn’t really change diet that much

Consistency is what I’m finding hard atm
I’ve learned motivation is overrated. We are human. We get tired. I’ve found discipline is where it is at - and not giving up and beating yourself up when you take a step back. Just getting back on and pushing forward.

Calorie counting and exercising 3-4 days a week. I’m basically at my weight so it’s maintenance now but it seems if I eat anything above my weight loss calories 1400, I gain weight.
I walk for ~20 minutes every morning before sitting down to work. Drinking a lot of water helps because we often think we are hungry when we may just be thirsty.
I also switched to a primarily plant based diet - just doing this cuts out a lot of high calorie, processed foods which helped me drop about 10 pounds when combined with exercise.
Even if plant based is too much, focus on eating fruits & veggies because the volume will help fill you up and you’ll also get the added nutrients.
Intuitive eating and targeting outdoorsy activities for the weekends (skiing, hiking). I found at the beginning, I tried to count calories and I ended up just consistently binge eating cause it wasn’t enough. I started eating to accommodate my weekends and how hungry I was and the weight came off naturally!
Please keep in mind, I also got into long distance trail running so this helped me exponentially.
Cooking more and snacking less - swapped out the old snack foods for greek yogurt/granola or clementines. Also walking/running/biking outside every day when the weather is nice enough. I've been going at lunchtime to get away from the computer for a bit, it's nice
I saw noticeable results with intermittent fasting (i averaged about a 17 hr fast schedule) and actually found it easier to do during WFH than before the pandemic. Before, it was hard to control given travel/commute schedules, work hours in office, and dinner dates with friends and colleagues. Now that i have flexibility being at home and am socially distanced, it was a lot easier to commit to intermittent fasting hence probably why i got some results
Exercise more....eat less. If you don’t put it in your body, you won’t gain
I’ve been struggling too, but I’ve bought myself a smaller sized beautiful dress and keep staring at it hoping that it will motivate me 😹

Cooking more and not having a chance to have lunch in most days 😱
Lost 15 pounds. I started to keep a lot of fruit around like small tangerines and bananas. I only snack on fruit now vs candy / chocolate
