I think it's nice! (Assuming you didn't see 2 dozen red roses or something like that!)
They're just flowers... nothing to freak out about. I think it was a nice gesture. The people here freaking out are the same type of people who put timelines on milestones in relationships. You do you.
You know what, you let her know you were thinking of her and congratulating her. Kudos. All this "too soon" nonsense... you didn't propose, or show up on her doorstep or buy expensive jewelry or anything crazy. Grown ups can separate that and appreciate the gesture.
I don't like getting flowers at work - doesn't matter how long we dated. It's giving coworkers a reason to ask about my private life. But I know there are just as many girls who would love it and think it's totally cute.
I think it's really thoughtful! Just hopefully you didn't send to her workplace
Lady 🐠- I think it is a very thoughtful gesture and I would appreciate it. I'm honestly shocked at the amount of women who have said it would be too much. If it feels right, then you should do it. Three weeks in can be very different depending on the people, their chemistry, etc.
Haha well I just called and they said that I had to cancel right now or else they'd be sent out so I cancelled. She just texted me asking to hang out tomorrow so I figured that I could just have a nice night with her tomorrow without risking coming off too strong. I'll send flowers if we make it longer term
If anything just go pick up a cute bouquet from Trader Joe's and bring it to her when y'all hangout next! That is sweet and not coming on too strong in my opinion
Bring flowers to dinner,or send to her apartment...do not send them to work! I'm not sure I'd ever feel comfortable getting flowers at work.
Lady fish here- I think it's a nice gesture. It shows you like her and being thoughtful. I wouldn't worry about it. It's refreshing to see someone took the time to make me feel nice. At least that's how I would look at it OP :)
Bring her flowers to dinner! I am not representative of every woman, but flowers are one of my favorite things to buy Thursday or Friday when I get in from traveling- they make a huge difference in your apt/home.
Lol it was two dozen rainbow roses I think. They were on sale
You're good man. Done that several times due to random events popping up early. Just stay away from red roses
And for the record now that I've read some of the earlier posts..... The flowers were NOT sent to her work. I sent them to her apartment
Sounds like a gentlemanly thing to do. Something small, but nice, is always appreciated.
Yeah I think that gesture would be more of a "we've been dating for years and I wanted to surprise you with something funny/nice just because". 3 weeks in is a little soon, don't you think?
Lady 🐠 here, personally I'd find a bit too full on too soon.. I feel like my coworkers would tell me it's cute to my face but laugh at the guy behind my back. I'd rather you take me out for a dinner and bring me the flowers then
3 weeks ... flowers .... hmmm. I could see that going either way depending upon your ages. You be you OP!
Lady 🐠 here. It's sweet! But I wouldn't like them delivered to work. 🙅🏾🙅🏾 on nosey coworkers.
Whatever happens, just laugh about it. Don't mean it too seriously, she won't take it too seriously
