I approached my C-suite with abundant facts Re: the need for cost of living adjustment To my salary. I provided detailed facts ie) local market value increases/population increase/comparable salary comps etc all with links to appropriate websites. They offered a retention bonus w/the contingency that I must remain w/them for 12 mo. or repayment is required regardless if I leave on my own accord or if I am fired/let go for any reason. Is this acceptable? I’m leaning toward rejecting.
