Depends on the cut and clarity⊠itâs not all about size!
Correct. Higher clarity over size, Iâd take the blinding sparkle.
This is definitely a hot take but I donât want a real Diamond when I get engaged- I have this tendency to fidget with things on my hands a lot and Iâm scared Iâll lose the ring. Would rather get a fake Diamond and have the money go towards a retirement fund or property
200 minimum naturally perfect clarity and cut.
My fiancé wanted a round cut and asked that the size begin with a 2. I got her 2.05k w a cold band that had .35 carats of smaller diamonds 3/4 the way around. Bc it was a gold band I could save some money with a lower color grade. She also wanted a six prong ring which was good bc the prong covered up one of the imperfections on the outside. Everyone is different. Ask your dog others friends to do some snooping!
Sounds beautiful
I wanted (and got) at least 2 carats.
Whatever you do, avoid the halo look

I asked my husband for just under a carat as the price jumps up a lot when you hit that round number. I also went for a halo to add some bling and size around the ring. I wanted a pretty ring, but also wanted to be practical as we bought our home that year and were paying for a wedding. Trust me, you wonât care as much once the thrill of the engagement passes and you start planning your life together.
