One of my junior associates recently resigned and I've been trying to make an exit myself for several months now. The job market has been really competitive but I am getting closer to getting a new job and moving on. The firm culture isn't great and work-life balance is non existent. My physical and mental health have been suffering, so I really don't think I could stay. How did you avoid the guilt trips from Partners/Senior staff trying to get you to stay?
I was working On 6.8LPA in India - FY 2021-2022 till Nov 2021. I was out of taxable income till now ( in my 4 years of exp) using the tax benifits insurance,HRA etc.. I have switched to a company with 12 LPA(30%tax slab),

Looking to break into the broader healthcare industry from pharma consulting. Which non-pharma healthcare companies value pharma experience / don’t exclude it as part of healthcare experience? (Many companies want provider/payer experience). Targeting Senior Manager roles (5 YOE + MBA)
Hi, everyone. I have been in automotive sales most of my career (sales person, F&I Manager, etc.) I am curious what does a health recruiter make? Job satisfaction? And what does it take to break into this industry?
Anyone interview with Aetna for a data science position? What are the technical screens like? Glassdoor interview process seems all over the place - some mention coding, others a case interview, and some grab-bag questions.
How long do you have to freelance some place before they're required to allow you on heir healthcare plan? Does it vary by state?
I may get laid off. I would like to start having conversations about opportunities. Is anyone looking for a terrific recruiter with a giant network? Would love to chat!
Hi y'all, super simple question: what is the highest $$ exit for healthcare consultants? What industry (payor/provider/pharma/medtech/other?) and what function/position?
Do you keep the work in your portfolio + the well known company on your resume if you were fired as a contractor? If yes, then what exactly do you say in your next interview? I plan to honest + brief
Asking for an observation as part of interview process… I have 2 job offers, one in pediatric clinic and one in home health. Obviously they are very different but I can’t decide. I’ve never done home health and really want to see a couple sessions to get a feel for it if I would like it. Is that something I can ask for before accepting an offer?
Is it possible to get more sick days. Just ran into some recent health problems and scared I’ll burn through them in the first quarter of the year
Absolutely. Some smaller firms don't have as good of healthcare for example because they don't have as many employees (coverage is same but premiums are higher). Often times they'll try to make up for it elsewhere.
I was recently laid off and I am actively search for a new role. I am mainly targeting ScrumMaster, Product Analyst, and Business Analyst jobs, but I am open to others.
Must be located in Austin, Texas or fully remote.

Has anyone here ever had to deal with rehoming a dog? My boyfriends rescue dog bit me in the neck to the point where I had to go to the hospital and I’m so scared of him now. I feel so guilty (cont)
Have any of you had to go through multiple different therapists and found one that you enjoy meeting with consistently? Hating myself rn but don’t want to talk to the one therapist i have met with 3x and not sure if the search is even that worth it ultimately. For those that couldn’t find a good match for a therapist - are there other methods of therapy you’ve tried or would recommend?

My depression and anxiety have been an insane roller coaster recently. What does everyone do if they are in a really bad depressive state/have crippling anxiety or panic attacks and don’t feel able to go into work? Especially if you are in a bad place for a couple days, then start to feel well enough to go to work, only to sink back in a week or so later?
I hate it when I'm sad for no reason :(
Haven’t been able to secure a FT role since I graduated 3 years ago. I finally got through a couple of rounds of interviews and felt like the position was a perfect fit...well found out today I didn’t get it. I’m pretty bummed and feeling like I made a horrible decision going into this industry. Anyone also struggled with this? How did you get out of this dark hole?
Any creatives/writers here regularly take ADD medicine? Wondering how it affects your workflow and process.
I have a phobia of deep water and of driving. Not sure if they are related, but I think it’s related to not trusting myself...like I don’t trust my body to save myself if I’m drowning and I don’t trust myself to not make a mistake while driving. I have taken swim lessons and I know how to swim/float and I have my driver’s license. I live in NYC so I haven’t had to drive much but recently I’ve had to drive and it’s a nerve-racking experience. I had to drive on the highway and it was scary!
Have you ever taken a leave of absence for your mental health? Exploring my options (don’t want to just quit) and very overwhelmed by the logistics.
I work at a very small agency in nyc (no HR person, just an online portal) so I don’t have someone to go to who isn’t my boss.
Any thoughts/advice is SO appreciated.
