Hi Nagarrians, it's been 45 days now since I joined Nagarro I was assigned a team at the time of joining but since then I am waiting for interview to take place. Is this normal procedure? Although from day 2 my project manager asked me to fill the timesheet corresponding to one project which is no billable. I am having concerns now as I don't know if this is normal ?

I don’t think I’ve ever been asked directly but if you are, just be honest. Many people have been laid off during covid and it’s not performance related, people will understand

You don’t have to disclose that you were laid off

I was laid off from my previous employer while the economy was still in boom times. I was completely honest with every interviewer. It doesn’t really matter when you are laid off every now and then.
Now if you are laid off two times in two years....
If hr/interviewer brings it up specifically then just say that you along with a bunch of others have to be let go off due to covid impact. If the question doesn't come up, don't say anything but remember to disclose actual dates to background check agency
Was laid off pre-Covid due to workforce reductions. When asked why I’m looking for a new role, I had a one liner ready explaining the above and didn’t dwell on it too much.

I wouldn’t disclose. Not until you still get severance. It reduces your leverage. Honesty is one thing but you do need room to negotiate

Thanks all. But they have my resume so wouldn’t they know anyways? Or should I not mention it on my resume either?
This is what KPMG allowed for me, in the UK. As part of my exit I was given three months pay to find a new job, but no longer do actual work for KPMG. Because of this, if a prospective company inquired, HR was able to say I was still technically employed during that severance period.
Check with your HR to see if this can be the case for you
