I made it the final round "panel" interviews with Amazon for a hardware engineering role. Anyone got any tips or experiences with Amazon interviews for a HW-oriented role?
It's 5 hours total, first two rounds are with managers. What I've done in the past is give as many examples as I could for HW solutions that I worked on highlighting the tech skills. Wondering if I can do more?

Sometimes it’s not you. Check the district enrollment. If it’s in decline, they will first cut the probation teachers at the end of the year the enrollment projections aren’t in favor of re-hire. It’s not fair, but it’s easy for the site and district admin so that’s why they tend to precede this course of action.
Sometimes a PE position is needed for a head coaching position. I was a PE teacher for 15 years before I made the principal angry because I was willing to stand up to her and was then transferred 🤨! PE positions are a tough find, keep trying, and remember, keep the office manager and custodian on good terms, you would be amazed at how much their opinions matter to a Principal 😉😁!
I had the same issue, great reviews but laid off for decreased enrollment. I teach social sciences. That was almost 7 years ago. I've been subbing ever since. Working on a master's in public history hoping to get into a museum or archives.
I am so sorry!! I know what that feels like, but don’t give up!

Are you all work & no play? Build connections at the site, join a committee or something, and get to know people. They may simply not feel like they know you and that makes it easier for them to let you go.
Did you say "PE"? Our district recently just laid off quite a few permanent/tenured Physical Ed teachers, due to decreasing enrollment....I've heard some PE teachers with 10+ years with the District were being let go.... :( Perhaps you should consider getting a secondary credential in another subject (like health?), just to make yourself more "marketable".
