Have always preferred Ferrari. But whoever keeps producing ICE will prevail for me

like

I know that these are competitors in the larger picture but to me I don’t think they’re really comparable. Lamborghini to me is focused on building exotic looking performance cars. I don’t view Lamborghini as a luxury brand. Ferrari on other hand seems to me that they’re focused on luxury with performance. Their car designs aren’t as exotic or non-standard as Lamborghini but I think that’s by design.

If I was a rich country club type person I’d be choosing Ferrari.

like

Yeah it’s a paradox and not totally clear but ultimately yeah. Like if I was setting out to spend that kind of money on a car the reasons I would choose one over the other are very different. To me it’s like Porsche and McLaren, same cut different fabric. Both are performance oriented, but Porsche is leaning towards luxury meanwhile I feel McLaren is performance oriented.

Great question, and it’s entirely opinion based. I would say both lambo & Ferrari are at par with one another, taking different approaches. At base, they’re both performance manufacturers. Ferrari’s consumer vehicles quite literally only exist so Enzo could race f1 and fund those efforts. Lambo is in a similar boat, but focuses on super gt, Gt3, gt2 classes, with the occasional tractor pull 😊 Lamborghini tends to allow for greater expression in their audience, typically building more exotic looking cars, and not having an issue when customers liberty walk their cars, do dumb stuff, etc. Ferrari has *sued* customers for changing the color of the car because it’s not up to Enzo’s ghost’s belief structure. Design for both is focused on aero at the end of the day.

For me, personally, Ferrari is too pretentious. But it’s still Ferrari … sad, but if Enzo wasn’t enzo, f1 probably wouldn’t exist. I’d probably go with lambo > Ferrari 6/10 times

Grew up a huge Ferrari fan, but when it comes to purchasing I’d go with the cheaper, “sportier looking”, better sounding, NA V10 Lamborghini. Both cars are great, but a Ferrari drives way smoother than a Lamborghini in my experience

7 year warranty, all service included and no reporting to credit bureaus = Ferrari for the win!

Thank you for the detail

Are we talking about actually purchasing or just general sentiment?

About to give a go at negotiating a price for a used ‘21 Mercedes’ GLE 350 - 7k miles. I know it’s a tough buyers market but any tips on ways to negotiate? Dealer is 100 miles away and priced competitively at $64k but another dealer is 200 miles away and priced at $60k. Features are about the same but the more expensive option has nicer wheels so maybe that’s worth ~$2k. TIA
