Advice for how to handle the HR Director my organization is the most toxic person in the City, causing turmoil in departments, sharing disciplinary info about others with everyone she speaks to, bad mouthing people. Who do we go to for a complaint against an HR Director? The City Administration is aware and doesn’t do anything.

Why do Americans feel the need to enforce individualism onto people? 😪 I pay for a lot of my extended family’s bills (they’re in Asia and have much more humble lifestyles) and do so very happily. I never complain about it, but whenever I mention it, cue the storm of lectures on how I NEED to push back on toxic family expectations or whatever. Can’t reason with then either…
