Been on the fence about this for 2 years, I'm just too much of a pansy to go through with it..only have one set of eyes.
No more changing lenses in airport rest rooms- just that makes it worth every penny
Yes. Do it. SO worth it.
I watched it on YouTube and decided not to do it
2003 while in grad school. Also took two years to work up the courage. Spent so much time and money on contacts and annoying glasses. Still to this day a huge advocate.
YESSS! Life changer. You can scuba
Ya took me some time to summon up the courage but glad I did it. Total lifechanger
1000% worth it. The surgery is a bit awkward but hey, that is what Valium is for. I now enjoy peripheral vision, sunglass shopping and 20/20 nearly 10 years later.
29/30 ish. The Valium makes me hazy on the specifics. Over 10 years later very happy. Plus, not an advocate for drug use, but everyone could use a Valium day once in awhile - never been so mellow!
@PWC1 you can scuba with contacts or get prescription lenses. That being said I'm also considering getting it done sometime soon.
Had it on Tuesday, so far so good!
Can't wear contacts again if you need correction and touch ups can't fix it
You don't feel a thing!!!! And unless you have other conditions the risk of having anything go wrong are minuscule
Total game changer. A few hours of itchy eyes and 7years later I'm still better than 20/20.
What age did you guys get it done?
Got mine done at 29
Last week!
They dint even give me Valium. Just Advil. And honestly dint need anything stronger tbh
I have a slight stigmatism too, I guess that adds to my uncertainty about having the procedure done since it's not a guarantee. When I went for a consultation they said "there's a chance you could need glasses when driving at night due to glare and possibly as you get older for reading".
