Last day at my current agency is next Friday. This is my first time resigning so I’m not sure what to do/say to leave on a high note to ensure everyone remembers me well. Any ideas on what to do/how to wrap up a last week at a company?

Great handoff docs. Try not to leave loose threads if you can help it. Don’t give them a chance to say OP left them holding the bag in a few weeks. Never make your team think YOU think you’re above them for leaving. Leave a conquering hero. Not a bitter whiner. Bcc your personal email on anything you want to keep, assuming you’re not breaking laws or an NDA.

Don't senioritis-out, work hard to leave a good impression, and then Irish goodbye except to the people you want to maintain a connection to. Connect with them individually in some meaningful way either in person if you can, or a one-on-one zoom if not. If you're not already connected on LinkedIn, do that and send them a DM requesting a recommendation and offer to do the same in return. Then follow-through and stay in touch.

A note of gratitude for your teammates, the opportunity and all the support you had in this step of your journey is always a class act move. Send it to your personal email address and put everyone else on BCC so they can reply even after you don’t have access to your company email. And then everything AS1 said is sound advice. Especially about senioritis. Don’t sh*t the bed at the finish line because that’s all anyone will ever remember.

Sad truth: no one cares that your leaving as much as you do. Follow your managers guidelines to onboard your teammates and on your last day send a nice note to the people you’ve worked with providing your personal contact info if they don’t already have it. Ask a friend to plan a good-bye event at a bar if your team is up for getting together (given the pandemic) or a zoom happy hour on your last day or 2nd to last day.
