Last Friday I fulfilled a dream with an offer from BCG. I dropped out of high school due to a drug problem and made a real mess of my life, and managed to get back on track. I didn’t think I’d do it

Man I’ve been thinking about this thread throughout the day. If you have some time and are willing, I’d love (and am sure many others) to hear your story. Not only did you get out of drugs (which is a large accomplishment in its own right) but you worked your way up to Big 3. Whatever motivation it was that got you there, I hope it keeps the engine going for a long time

Congratulations OP. You should be very proud of what you have endured overcome and now accomplished. But don’t let it end here. Keep striving for great things. It is obvious you have it in you to do so and to inspire others including your 🐠bowl friends If there was anyone along the way who helped you, don’t forget to thank them as well. Nice work OP! It will be a challenging next few years but you will grow like crazy. I too had a rough start— dropped out of college twice and dealt with rape and substance abuse issues for several years. Being here has been hugely reaffirming for me. I’m three years in now and life has never been better. Welcome to the rest of your life!

How much time and prep did it take for that offer? Congrats to you by the way. Would love to see you go back and inspire others who lost their way to do the same.
