Just interviewed for this job that sounds superficially good but I think will take me back to the work I did 10 years ago but will pay my target salary and will have a fancy title (VP). I don't really want to do this but I need a job, have run out of UI and don't want to deplete my savings to nothing waiting for the perfect job. If offered, should I take it and continue looking or will it look bad? Changed jobs within 1 year once already. At least this job would be spinnable for what I want.

I’ve interviewed for social media roles, BDR manager roles , always falling short on what they are looking for. Beginning to think I’ll just have to accept a career that I hate that brings me no passion and try for AE role. My ideal role would be in product marketing or social. Any advice?

Visiting SO’s brother in nyc for the week. Mentioned wanting to invite my friend (female) to join us for Friday plans. Brother in laws wife is out of town that Friday but became somewhat uncomfortable when she realized my friend (who is considered hot) and goes oh it’s a hot girl? Brother in law was then like oh I don’t need to go then. I have my wife and my soon to be baby. Found it all very weird as I don’t mind SO going to see hot friends of the opposite sex but then again we are (cont’t)
