I am a skilled nursing facility biller and collector for Medicare & Insurance, my job can absolutely be remote but the company I work for refuses to allow employees to work remotely. I’ve been with this company for 10 years and am looking elsewhere to find the same position but remote so I can move out of state. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change.
