Law firm submitted a response to my H1B extension RFE on April 28th in premium and it has been 15 days already but no response from USCIS. Anyone else in the same boat ?

My h1b petition was approved till September 2022. I was not able to get it stamped through previous employer and now my current employer is willing to transfer the H1b. Since the petition got expired can someone guide me what is the process for this ?

I was affected by layoffs about a month ago and urgently looking for a good immigration lawyer. The lawyer should be experienced in handling this 60 day grace period situation and developing alternate strategies - such as change of status to B1/B2 or applying to jobs from India. All! Just a little confused - parts of the EO recalled by the a president earlier this month made some exemptions to H1B workers who could possibly get their visa stamped IF they fall into any of those categories. So hypothetically if the consulates open, we should be able to get it stamped right? I see many posts on the bowl saying H1B still won’t be stamped until December and hence my question!

I’m an immigration attorney at a large nonprofit in Chicago. I’ve been practicing immigration law for 3 years. I enjoy the work and it is very rewarding. Hi guys, I am due to start working at EY soon within audit.

I will be commuting to the office by train when in the Birmingham office. This will be from Leicester.

Usually if a commute is about 1.5 hours+, Mazars authorises hotels. Is there a similar policy at EY?

When not in the office I would prefer to drive to clients, not sure if me being in Leicester affects whether they will tell me to suck up an extended commute? Would a mileage claim be from the office to the client?
