Hi! Is it normal to feeling burn out after 10 months of working? I got a job as a sale coordinators which is a new position for a new department in my company. In this position, my boss expects me to be a sale rep, costumer support, and account management. With everything I have to be available at all time, meeting a potential costumer in the morning and taking order in the evening till midnight. All this for 48k, it’s my first salary job for me. Hey guys, quick question: are codefendants allowed to attend the deposition of each other? I. E: can codefendant A attend the deposition of codefendant B? This is with each party represented by counsel.

For a Rule 45 subpoena duces tecum, can I mail it to the stat agent for a company or LLC? I took a case over from another firm and they sent subpoenas with a process server who was unable to personally deliver the subpoenas to the stat agent. I have always just mailed them.

6th year associate at a small 6 attorney PI/med-mal firm in the Northeast OH. Settled about $1.4M total on the year, fees are about 5x my total compensation. Largely 1-manned these cases, use very little overhead beyond my assistant who I share with a partner. Feeling self-conscious, am I doing alright here??

Finishing up my first year of big law, thinking of starting my own practice while I work at my current position. Thinking that in a few months, I’ll concretely work solely for my own practice full-time. How difficult is it to gain clients (mainly PI and civil lit)? My mentor also offered me to be an off counsel while I’m working at my current job so that I can refer cases for a cut, would there be an ethical issue? FYI my firm does unrelated law to PI and doesn’t forbid doing extra work.

What is a fair salary for a 3rd year PI attorney at a boutique law firm? I went to a T-14, 1 year PI experience, 1 year clerkship, 1 year other.
