Does anyone work at a company and your boss says to other coworkers “ she makes to much money ? I’m salary and commission. My commission rate was reduced when I went salary in 2021 and lost OT and paid out PTO. My boss use to be then owner but sold us out . They are the VP until March . I work 14 hours a day for over a decade. I’m at my breaking point . I use feel so undervalued . The laziest people get praised.

Everyday I think about quitting & how much I hate my job. When do I say enough is enough and quit? I have a family to support & a ton of student loans so it not like I can be unemployed. Just recently switched careers so it's unlikely I'd be able to find something better soon. I feel so trapped. Curious how other marketing teams like to share resources internally. I'm considering creating a centralized hub where departments can access news, branding information, logos, premade materials and basic templates like letterheads. I'd also like to be able to give specific users access to specific things (ie I don't want everyone to have the logo vector).

When your contemplating leaving an organization, do you give your direct supervisor advanced notice to try to make changes to make it work? I haven't been at my new organization long and my last job I was at for quite sometime. I feel like even if I talk to my supervisor it won't get much better, but I've only left an organization after knowing confidently things won't change. Where’s a good place to get salary information or billable rates for the NYC area? I’m hearing of people getting 200k plus or $150-250 an hour for tech work, but I’ve never been able to get more than 145 or $100 an hour. A 3 year old startup has incurred expenses worth $2.5M till date and a revenue of $1M. They are currently at a negative $1.4M EBITDA and have come up with a valuation of $3M. Is this seem reasonable? How can I get a better understanding of their valuation?

I am interviewing for an in house job. Large startup in Europe (had Series C and raised 150M) and is starting a US presence. They want to pay base and bonus but bonus is all RSUs/options. It’s significant (about 75% of all in comp). Are these entirely worthless if the company never goes public?

I’ve got an offer to join a startup I really like (currently less than 50 fte). Proved product market fit, soon to expand internationally. Will join in senior product manager role, with view to become head of product in a year. Pay is 40-50k per annum lower. Also got an offer from MBB top tier consulting firm, pay is nearly double first year (including a sign-on bonus). Are there people which have had a similar decision to make and can share me their thoughts? FYI: no equity in the offer
