Hey Ladies! Unfortunately I am one of many who just was laid off from my current job during a mass layoff at my company. Because of this I am now on the market for a job and haven’t been in the job market for over 7 years. I would love any advice on how to get back out there. Should I hire a headhunter??
What kind of tax groups are hit with the layoff at Deloitte? I don't understand how Deloitte can fire their tax employees at this time of the year when 7/15 is just around the corner...
What's with all the Deloitte lay offs? Is that normal there or is it just a bad year? I haven't been hearing about layoffs from anyone else but Deloitte so I'm curious
I'm not one to advocate people being fired, but how the fuck are these refs still employed??
How will be client interview in Publicis Sapient? I heard it will be very difficult and we will be fired if we don't clear client interviews after 3 attempts. Is it true?

The in-house production company at my agency is going to get me fired. No matter how many times I’m clear about deadlines and checking in 100 times a day, they miss delivery every. single. time.
My paralegal is consistently under performing. Senior partner has met with her and implemented corrective action, and it’s not getting better. She took it poorly and is now looking for a job. Meanwhile, we’ve put up an ad to hire her replacement. It’s a race to see if she can get a job offer before we can find a replacement and she gets fired. Either way, I’m ready for her to be off my team.
Can someone start a layoff bowl? Would be nice to have all inquires and experiences directed to a dedicated space
Has anyone dealt with being laid off early in your career? / have general uncertainty about your career path? Things aren’t going so well at my firm and it’s really impacting my mental health
I have been approached for a new job opportunity. Its a good company & normally I would definitely go ahead with the next step but I just found out that one of my ex-colleagues is in the same team that I'm being approached for. It would be at the same level. This person was a really bad employee & really ruined the team culture.. The only good thing I can say about this person is that they were smart enough to quit before being fired. I'm apprehensive to even try & interview here. Any advice?
Anyone else essentially doing the bare minimum until they get fired? Already have a nice financial nest egg and have essentially hit the number of years I wanted at a firm (3-5 years). I go through the motions but honestly I don't care about practicing law at all. Pretty sure I could lateral or go in house or do something completely outside of law and be totally fine, but why expedite this? Wife and I are looking to move to a different city as well for context.
I am an SAP FICO consultant on H1B. Got just laid off and looking for a job. Can you guys kindly give me some leads/referrals.
It's probably just that fishbowl exists now, but I feel layoffs are incredibly more prevalent this year compared to previous. See a lot of pwc and ACN layoff posts in particular. Am I wrong?
Question for everyone out there, I am a business analyst and thinking about exploring new career opportunities. What are the thoughts of the job market right now for folks who are currently employed? Is it smart to try and look for a new job right now in this climate, or should I wait it out until post Covid? I feel like I might be one of the first ones let go if I go elsewhere, and I know that many people are looking for jobs due to Covid related layoffs.
Those fishies who bore the brunt of the pandemic and got laid off or furloughed, has anyone found work yet?
Just received an offer from Stripe but a little concerned about the current state of tech companies doing massive layoffs due to the economy. Anyone from Stripe has any insight about whether they foresee this happening at Stripe?

One of the most important things I've learned this busy season is the psychology around meeting lengths. They are far more likely to accept the 15 minute invite, even if it balloons to the usual hour
Gaaahhh - my coworker is eating a bagel and cream cheese from a place nearby that smells out of this world good. It's making me so hungry, but another 90 minutes before I can step out. Help 😳
