Hey Humans. I was checking a video from donut media and they started to talk about how weird is the movie CARS from pixar.
Some open Q: Why did the cars have doors, if there were no humans? Why are sidewalks, if its a car's world? Isnt strange that all hangars are filled with car parts?... is like having all the viscera and bones of your friends around.

I’ll likely have an interview early next week. The recruiter says it’ll be an introductory call with the co-lead of the firm’s privacy practice group, planning for 30 min or so. I’m a third year and this would be my first lateral so looking for advice on what I should know or ask for during the interview. Will also have a prep call with the recruiter so any tips on what to cover with them would be helpful, too.

For those who have made/making the move from FDD over to FP&A, how do you address the lack of financial modeling skills in interviewing? Seems like a big gap when at Manager or above level when that’s one of the biggest parts of the FP&A function.

I’m currently an undergraduate still finishing my pre-reqs but my goal is get an MBA. I was planning on attending Washington State Uni for it. Will I be able to get accepted into an MBA program with a BA from a community college?

I looked up some data on Glassdoor, Indeed and LinkedIn - however its too low and seems like not updated. How % hike much do we think is fair? The role consists of managing 6 people (potentially 7). I was thinking of range (68-76k). Any thoughts?

Should I keep my new job or boomerang back to my old job? The new job pays 50K more base, 25K more bonus and I get 40K a year consulting for the old job so around 115K difference in cash (not counting equity).

So why even consider going back to the old job? The new job keeps me busy 12+ hours a day while the old job is a coast at 1-2 hours a day max.
