Yes - if you are going to another Big 4 - you are usually done the day you give notice.

Two weeks isn’t a material difference. My team could leave and I could pick up the slack for two weeks. I’d have the hole filled in a day or two, though.

No, especially as a senior. I left B4 for another B4 and wasn’t walked out. I even watched a Director give notice to go from B4 to another B4 not get walked out. It actually rarely happens.

See posts on here and on Reddit about people with horrible WLB. All my other friends in B4 are drowning in work. 6 months in... nothing too bad and everyone’s super respectful of my time. Am I in for a rude awakening at some point lol?

I've been looking for salaries for various position with Big 4 assurance, but information is all over the place. So after some research here, reddit, goingconcern, glassdoor, etc. I've put this info together: !! The salary grid below is for Big 4 Audit, HCOL (NYC,SF), gross amounts without bonus !! Of course they can be higher or lower by a few k's on each position depending on impact tier, but I tried to look for average amounts. If you have information please post it so we can update.

Went out on a date and was called a loser. I told her I appreciated everything in my life & now I’m a manager in big 4 and I’m happy with my life. She told me “you are only a manager in big 4 and how can you be happy? you should be working in the weekend to get to a better firm or at least be a senior manager at this age (33 yo). I’m really mad now.
