Leaving my dog at a home boarding with 2-3 other dogs. Any tips to make the transition seamless for her and things I should send in her bag (apart from food, leash, meds, toys)!
TIA

Prepare a pillow with her stuff and your (unwashed) cloths in.

My dog loves to sleep with her little pillow, so we just stuffed a pillow with her cloths and some of ours. But tbh the boarding told us she didn't care, she was so tired from playing all day long everyday, at 8pm she would already be snoring.

Only bring toys that can’t get ruined / not her favorite to avoid something getting trashed or potential guarding issues.

Definitely something with your scent on it and a kennel with a blanket to put over it in case they want some alone time. Are they used to being an only dog at your house?

I am new here! But I got a puppy yesterday, chihuahua/ husky / ridgeback. He’s been pretty responsive and isn’t a true whiner, but when we brought him in, he’s just been on our bed most the time. Just lays and does things on it. We did get him to lay on his bed, but he still resorts back to the bed. Even when we feed him, he just wants to be fed up on the end. What’s a good remedy/thing for this?

My dog has become more territorial and aggressive in the past year and I don’t know why. He is a 7 year old shihtzu. If he hears another dog outside when we’re at home, he gets stressed and starts huffing and puffing and running back and forth. He hates the FedEx delivery people and I’m not sure why. He has also recently started lunging and snipping at other people’s feet if they get too close. Cont’d in comments . . .
