Re the deal and projects, learn from this to jot down the big stuff you’ve worked on. When I was a summer associate my firm required us to do this so that when it was time for the partners and associates to give reviews of us they were reminded what we had worked on for them. That list was super helpful when I was updating my resume - all the major tasks I had done were listed right there! I do this now too and update the list periodically.

Frankly, you should have taken them with you. On an external hard drive.
PGC1 - I guess we can be grateful you’re not in private practice anymore.
Consider asking to take certain things with you. Check your State’s ethics rules and any policies with your firm and any applicable laws, of course.
I set up a folder of the documents I wanted to take with me - forms I created myself. The firm reviewed them and I received the firm’s blessing to take much of it with me. What they said no to I found I didn’t really need the forms anyway because it was in my head.
If you do this then document, document so there isn’t a claim later that you violated any policies, laws, ethics, etc.
Don’t forget to request your lifetime client list on the way out. You will need it to check conflicts later.
