I did the same almost 7years ago. Left KPMG for smaller and swore it was the best choice ever. Till a year in I realized that I miss the structure and process that comes with a large organization. Made my way to Deloitte and now a few years in I'm feeling frustrated again. #millennial

@D3, pay was a massive increase
Heard great things about it and am considering it as well. How was the interview process?
I haven't started just yet. But if I had to pinpoint what I'll miss...probably some of the people. And the loads of points. Beyond that, not much.
For me, pretty rapid and awesome. I really meshed well with the team and the work they do seems compelling!
😭😭😭😭😭
D2, any difference between D and KPMG?
How's the pay?
The time and expenses might be a rough adjustment...
@OP: congrats. How was the interview process? In terms of rounds, case interviews. Also, which role are you going in for?
Woot! Which one?
Is there anything that you miss from the big4?
I'm doing something different at D than what I was doing at KPMG so not exactly apples to apples, but overall I'd say D as a firm is better for me. Both have similar pay structures. The focus should be more on what you come in at. That's your foundation. Doesn't hurt to leave to bump up salary and come back a few years later to bring up comp.
