Left Booz last year to work for one of the beltway bandits. Culturally this is not a fit and I'm looking to quit. While I don't plan to go back to Booz or a Big 4, I'm considering a non technical role with a tech company in the DC or Reston area, preferably in partnership, BD or sales. How bad does a gap on my resume appear to recruiters and hiring managers? Any advice is appreciated.

Advice - which offer: Have an offer to return to my old firm (great partner relationships, not so great peer relationships) or move to another Big 4 (I stepped into industry role for a year but miss consulting).
