I have a coworker on a project who is not contributing their fair share... I'm afraid I'm already viewed as too aggressive in the group so I haven’t been vocal about it. I think I may stay silent.
Have a strong feeling the lead on my current project is about to be replaced. Laying low.
Doesn't look so pretty right now in NY. Strapping down for Hurricane Joaquin. Client may get some work from me after all.
Checked into hotel. Went to hotel bar. Charged drinks to the room. Asked for a room change because the view was shit. Let's see if I get charged. *I mean my client gets charged
Finally built up the courage to take full advantage of the beach by visiting the gf on a weekday. At 8:30pm I got an email saying be back for a project by 8:30am tomorrow. She lives 4 hours away...
When I’m on a project that I don’t have to travel for I can hear the miles and points I’m losing out on ticking away
What's more common for you? 1. using network to get on a project you really like. 2. HR staffs you on something without any prior communication.
Don't you guys get frustrated when we get emails from leadership saying how well our project/firm is doing, but all we get as reward is their useless thank you email
This project keeps me wondering- why am I still doing this? Stockholm syndrome I guess...
Leaving my position @ Big 4. I want to list some of my engagements on my LI profile, and get some recs from clients who liked me. Thoughts on posting client names or refs?

Everybody I know wants to get out of this project. It's only this project or you guys too???

When a 3rd party recruiter reaches out on LinkedIn, is it appropriate to ask who the hiring company is? How do you politely decline if you don't like the answer?
Seeking a restaurant recommendation in San Francisco Chinatown. Someplace higher end that’s not too touristy for a family trip. Any recommendations appreciated!!
Grateful for my support system. I burst into tears during a zoom call with a project leader today. He said the sweetest thing anyone ever said to me in years. A quick catch-up turned into a therapy session.
Seeking for a Citibank referral 🙇♀️
Looks like we may see some picketing tomorrow: flyertalk.com/articles/united-airlines-crew-to-picket-16-airports-worldwide-thursday.html as long as this doesn't affect our travel...

Regarding retirement, the way I understood it the ideal was: 1. 401k match 2. Roth IRA 3. Max 401k 4. Other accounts (eg. HSA if you are elegible, potentially 529 for your kids, otherwise just investing in stuff) Is that right or am I forgetting something?
