Left other firm before getting cpa experience form signed. Is it possible to go back and get them to sign it if I’m still on good terms with my old team?

They should sign it. It’s not uncommon to have them sign it.

I believe they are obligated to sign off. If they don’t sign off and you actually did the work, I think you can complain to the board of accountancy

Yeah I don’t see why not, I would for sure rather than wait another 2400 hours or whatever it is

If they don’t talk to HR team there and they will get it done. You may have to push it a little since you don’t work there

Yup, they’ll do it.

Any AML roles out there ? 👀

Looking for advice on where to head next. Now I'm mostly working with Azure Databricks, SQL, and a little bit of Ansible CI/CD.
After 12 months I can influence where my next role is and I'm wondering what is the best career direction.
The next role can include
C#,
APIs,
React,
DevOps / Ansible,
Or more Azure Synapse & Databricks
Which of these languages / technologies is good for my future in tech? Or does it matter?

Have virtual interviews tomorrow and Friday (both with same company) - I know 150% if I got an offer, I would not accept. Had a ton of coaching meetings this week regarding a different offer I’ve been considering and I don’t want to leave my current place of work. Cancel tomorrow and Friday interviews or no cancel and potentially get an offer and decline? (I am fairly busy so biggest opportunity cost is my time and having to wfh to do video interviews during the workday)

Tax question - I make about $200k and get half of my income from a W-2 and another half from being an independent contractor. Because, I’m subject to pay both FICA and SECA taxes. Do my social security taxes get capped on amounts paid above the ~$140k threshold across both my W-2 and 1099 incomes or am I out of luck and have to pay more than that since only about 100k of my income is FICA and the other 100K is SECA (which is subject to ~12% overall including the ER portion)?
