Shortcake season! Made vegan cream biscuits based on this recipe: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/self-rising-cream-biscuits-for-shortcake-recipe. I made a half recipe for a small group. Easy to veganize - used Nutpods oat cream and Miyokos vegan butter. Will be served with rhubarb cherry compote and coconut whipped cream. Will try to get a plated photo to add later.

Keto is not sustainable and not good for your body long term. It’s good to get a head start in weight loss using Keto but low-carb is more sustainable
There are literally people who have been in ketosis for years…

Personally prefer low carb, more sustainable, easier to eat a good volume of vegetables, easier to stay hydrated.
Neither. 🤡
It's alll about what you like most. So you prefer carbs? Go low fat. Do you prefer fat-rich foods? Go keto.
Makes no sense to go keto if you love pasta. And vice versa. You get the point.
Cause the chances of being consistent on a diet is solely based on how long you can handle it by making sure you like the food you eating.
And of course... Tracking calories yada yada
Makes sense. I need to think about it a bit. I feel like low carb seems more sustainable.
I’m not a nutritionist but something about so many fats worries me.
Thanks for the input CD1
Low carb>Keto. But then again, this formula is even better. 1g of protein per lb of body weight, 20% or more of left over calories from fats, the rest is carbs. For me, that’s about a 35,35, 30. I’ll likely increase this to 40, 30, 30.
I’m really one to try it before knocking, I’ve done a lot of diet out there. Keto was by far the worst and least sustainable. Low carb was a really good one for me that yielded good results. But what I’m on now keeps me mentally and physically satiated.
