Keto or low-carb? Which and why?

(If your opinion is neither, I’m not interested. You can share it, but I’m hoping to hear from people with experience with either.)

Keto is not sustainable and not good for your body long term. It’s good to get a head start in weight loss using Keto but low-carb is more sustainable

likehelpful

There are literally people who have been in ketosis for years…

Personally prefer low carb, more sustainable, easier to eat a good volume of vegetables, easier to stay hydrated.

like

Neither. 🤡

It's alll about what you like most. So you prefer carbs? Go low fat. Do you prefer fat-rich foods? Go keto.

Makes no sense to go keto if you love pasta. And vice versa. You get the point.

Cause the chances of being consistent on a diet is solely based on how long you can handle it by making sure you like the food you eating.

And of course... Tracking calories yada yada

Makes sense. I need to think about it a bit. I feel like low carb seems more sustainable.

I’m not a nutritionist but something about so many fats worries me.

Thanks for the input CD1

Low carb>Keto. But then again, this formula is even better. 1g of protein per lb of body weight, 20% or more of left over calories from fats, the rest is carbs. For me, that’s about a 35,35, 30. I’ll likely increase this to 40, 30, 30.

I’m really one to try it before knocking, I’ve done a lot of diet out there. Keto was by far the worst and least sustainable. Low carb was a really good one for me that yielded good results. But what I’m on now keeps me mentally and physically satiated.

Check out Jeff Nippard on YouTube. Science based results, can’t argue with physics and lots of his material if not all is research study backed

I’ve been a data analyst for a little over a year for my current employer. I manage databases, input new information, solve issues utilizing root-cause analysis, and I maintain reports on a daily basis. The only thing I don’t do is work with coding such a SQL. I’m currently enrolled in Coursera Google Data Analytics Certification to learn more about SQL.
I want to get a job in data analytics that uses SQL. How do I show that I know SQL without having direct SQL related work experience?

I'd consider myself "junior/mid" level recruiter but I'd really love to develop my skills and be more refined and process driven in my approach. There's obviously many layers to the rest of this topic but I'm curious if anyone has had success in finding a mentor/coach to work with?

Does anyone know a great 7th grade math workbook? Our school system does not buy the students books. I’ve taught 6th grade math for 20 years and have made all my notes, worksheets and and examples, but I’ve been assigned a seventh grade math class and don’t have enough time to get all of that ready. I feel like I’ve spent so much money on Amazon and TPT but it never ends up being what I want. It’s usually too easy. I would be grateful for any ideas, suggestions or actual workbooks names. Thanks.
