I’ve done some research on some other platforms and It seems like I am being very underpaid at $26.54 per hour (55k) yearly.

Hi, I am an engineer with a master degree . I worked for more than a decade as an engineer. I then switched to product marketing through mba. I was recently laid off from a series B startup . I have 3 years gap due to mba and children. I am 44 . I know I am way way behind in my career. I have an upcoming interview . The position is product manager ( 175k base + yearly bonus, no stock ) . Those of you teaching elementary students simultaneously (remote/in-person): Are all your students allowed to use Chromebook’s/Ipads while you teach? Also, are you using a webcam?

At my school there are buttons being passed out that say, “She/her, he/him they/them.” I have no problem with anyone wearing these buttons but I don’t like feeling pressure to wear one myself. No one is telling me to wear one but people talk about how inclusive it is to wear one and most staff do. I really don’t think I’m being transphobic by not wearing one but I just don’t want to wear one. What is your opinion on this?

I need some advice! I am a new teacher in a Behavior unit. I have a token Economy in my classroom and a leveled behavior system. Some of my kiddos are not responding to it. They are k-2 students.

A child refused to move and was about to knock a shelf over. I picked her up, and as I did so, she dead weighted (dropped) causing me to poke her in the underarm by accident. You would have thought it the end of the world. The rest of the day she said she was scared of me. Then would ask for something (play dough, my lunch, stickers). When I told her no, she would cry and say she was scared of me and she wanted her mom. (The reason same reason she was upset to start with!).How to tell Mom?

I see principals reaching out to each staff member just to check in. Some are even delivering flowers and handwritten cards.

Who is relaxing, taking a break from everything and just chilling? That would be me… I don’t know about y’all but this spring break is well needed!!
