Idk. I think I saw the horse twitch...

Bash away all you like. Doesn’t bother me in the least, I get paid well, work on decent to good projects and 90% of my colleagues are actually nice people. Prestige and burnout badge can shove it.

Yea I work 40hours a week at most typically and my total comp is 150k. My team are generally smart people and allow boundaries to be set. 🤷‍♂️

Solid WLB, good clients and projects for M&A Strategy, nice & capable colleagues, TC $250k for M level…can’t find anything material to complain about - the setup is great.

What’s a KPMG?

Wait that means I can still bash them right?

I think there is a barely any difference between the B4 (outside of EYP/S&). I've worked with ex McK people & ex KPMG people, both were great and it would be stupid to discount people on that basis. On the other hand, I think no one would dispute that McK has higher talent density.

Hot take: $1M net worth is very attainable by all the consultants on this app. Consulting is in the top 5-10% (or better) paying jobs in the US. $1M net worth would put you in the top 6-8% as a 35-45 year old in the US. While everyone starts at different points (i.e student debt) and has different life circumstances resulting in different timelines, consulting provides solid income to allow you to save, invest and build wealth, if you choose.
