I wonder if a Product Marketing Manager role would be an appropriate title since I would be responsible to ensure the marketing programs were implemented.Thoughts?

What are your suggestions on how I should approach the role? What all I should take care of.

I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?

This may sound silly, but I have what was is scheduled to be a 10 minute phone screen on Tuesday for a Sr HRBP role. What should my expectations be? I have never had to do one this short and feel clueless.

I am a HR Generalist, I was called into my managers office and she informed me I was getting a verbal write up because she claimed I never told her that a supervisor was secretly changing peoples pay rates. I then said , that is untrue and I have screenshots that I sent to you on teams and a email that states I informed you of these issues back on June 6th. She then oh okay the write up is dismissed. Am I being to emotional to still be upset about this ?

So I’m currently looking for another role within IBM. I apply for this job online and Slack the hiring manager letting them know of my interest and that I would like to chat with them about the position. Here’s the problem: I got an automated email notification saying I’m no longer being considered for the role and they are no longer hiring for the role. The hiring manager still scheduled time on Tuesday to talk to me?! Umm, what exactly are we gonna talk about if the role doesn’t exist anymore?

I’m not old BUT when I was younger I thought it was important to have all the alphabets after my name (I.e. Phr, SHRM and all the others). I learning that the younger crowd coming into the market thrives off these identifiers yet they know very little about the real world aspects of the job. I watch leadership roll their eyes at the email footers. I feel like keeping those attached to my name hurts my credibility so I removed them…. I’m I thinking wrong?

I’m looking for a mentor in the tech / start up industry at the moment. I’ve been in HR for around 2-3 years and currently working in fintech for 8 months. I love the tech industry and I love how fast paced everything is. I started my career working alongside a manager that wasn’t always present and now working in HR alone.
