I could use some advice on how I should handle this situation. I found out the other day another editor who started four months ago is making 8% more than I do. For context, I have been here for a little over a year. How do I approach my boss to inquire about a raise? Should I bring up that I know about my teammate's salary?
Got an offer from an established (but disorganized, unstructured) startup. Cash comp is good (but not great - 30% paycut over my consulting pay) and was given equity worth a few millions @ a valuation of 3B. Problem is - I have absolutely no clue what this firm is worth at the moment. CEO says it’s currently worth at least 6B. It has good growth potential but I have no way of estimating the probability of this being materialized if and when a transaction occurs. How should I think about this?
Hello, Need an advice on my offer from Deloitte. I am on OPT and looking for H1B sponsorship this year, recruiter said they will do it but I am wondering if I join after 2 weeks will they be able to do it as there won’t be much time left. My current company will file H1 for me. I got an offer for a consultant role at D with 25$k extra than my current salary and 10$k sign in bonus but I am currently working as a Sr Con. Is it advisable to take a risk in my case considering H1 as a priority?

I've been working here for about two years now, and I have to say, I love my job. The company culture is great and the people are wonderful to work with. But recently, I've noticed that my manager has been asking me to do more and more work on my own without giving me any additional compensation for my time. He just keeps telling me that if I want to get ahead, then this is what I need to do.
I'm not sure what to do here—do you have any advice?
Hi hive mind, what do you think is the average % increase in salary going from associate director to director level? Or when there’s general advancement to a new band level within the same agency?

Two weeks ago I had my final interview at a pretty large corporation. I emailed the recruiter last week and this week just to see if I could get a response, so far nothing. Should I just assume they ghosted me at this point? Is there anything else I can/should do? Even just a generic rejection letter would be better then nothing at this point…
