Hi! Can someone recommend a source for learning how do simple, fun music lessons on Zoom? I teach first grade and use music for my transitions. I would also like to play songs for them with my guitar, but am concerned it won’t sound good on zoom (the guitar, not my voice, which is bad, we established that long ago)

Why doesn’t Visa use collaborative tools like Slack and Google Workspace? I’m guessing it’s not a budget issue.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. This job is a lot better if you don't care about the bonus and hours requirement. I can pretty easily bill 1700 hours annually and my firm so far hasn't cared in the slightest. Worrying about hitting 2000 hours for the bonus used stress me out so much, and I just don't think it's worth it. Base salaries are ridiculous and way more than enough to finance my lifestyle.

I've done a lot of self-work this year re: where I've been most successful and fulfilled over my last ten years.. I'm 32 and have been in sales, sales leadership, and business leadership (I've been a ceo and am currently head of sales at a start up).

All that said, I'm looking for some words of wisdom on how to pivot to sales ops, Rev ops, or GTM strategy. The latter probably being my preference.

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. One- I am a woman in a male dominated industry, I didn't go to a prestigious school like most of my peers and I just didn't think I deserved to be there. Everyday was a struggle and tried to keep myself small so no one would find out I was a "fraud." Looking back on it now, wiser and more experienced, I realized how detrimental feeling that way

Looking for new potential work. I’m not desperate. I have an interview on Friday, if they hire me and I take it, I’m leaving a toxic work environment, very poor management and nosy coworkers for another Union job but I feel better RBI’s new job will have better work relations, room for growth and better management. However, I’ll be leaving 7 years and great work perks. How do I have potential new job to pay me my rate of pay and possibly give me some of my previous work perks.

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

Anyone know how to get a position as an HRBP without HRPB experience? All positions I've looked at want previous experience. Would over 5 years of HR experience and a PHR suffice, or what skills should be added to that?
