It's been 10 days since I have been on a plane and I feel uncomfortable. Glad that's it's Sunday afternoon and I fly in a few hours. Unfortunate reality.

What do you look forward to watching after work? (Any good series or docus?)

Have a strong C on team but he/she doesn't know how to follow. I need to manage the relationship. It's more than the actual work in this case. What's the best way to make that clear?

What do you need to do in this industry to get above $300k

How is your agency/boss about letting you WFH/remotely?

Trying to book Marriott vacation club resort with the 90 minute timeshare presentation. The dates I want are sold out currently. Any strategy to get it? They usually ask questions prior to searching.

I'm in tax transformation (tax tech) for about a year now, is it too late to switch back to audit? What exit opps are there for tax tech (or how hard would it be to switch over to audit or advisory?)

How do you celebrate your own “wins” ? I have this perpetual habit of diminishing my accomplishments (I cringe using that word) because I’m not the best at something, both personal/professional....

Gonna start a mobile barber/ salon service. Anyone know a barber or hairstylist who was infected with covid and is now immune?

Anyone in ny market do per diem work if so what type of work and what do you charge and what practice level are you at?

Not sure where else to post this. I’m trying to use my dependent care FSA for our nanny, who my wife has been paying. Just realized that her arrangement with the nanny is “under-the-table” which means the nanny does not pay taxes on the income. Can I still use my DC FSA funds?

I know I want a job change but not sure to what. I actually enjoy strategy and consulting and want to make good money. I can learn and get interested in just about anything and I like diversity in my work. That’s all I’ve got so far. What else do you all consider in a job move?

How do you get health insurance if taking three months off before grad school?

I am in tax, a manager now. I definitely don't hate tax, but always feel like there's something missing in life if I don't try other things...All my experience is in tax, so making a switch is not easy. And I am doing well in my group. I don't know if it's just shiny object syndrome I have and I just need to be patient. Has anyone made a switch (to strategy/teaching/finance/tech) and happy with it?

I quit my last job because work is so boring and I work 4-5 hours/day; Got a new job and it's the SAME. I am getting paid 200k/year. I feel like I get more joy when I am directing others to do stuff and staying busy all the time. Should I quit again?

Anyone ever take a pay cut to get out of consulting? I hate it here, and miss general IT work/engineering work that I used to do.

Got an offer but I would be going from 110k, to 85k…

Oh my god. This guy I’ve been seeing for three weeks literally just went off on me over text and called me a rude b*tch for “ghosting” him because I didn’t respond to him for one day. I had my phone on DND most of the week (I talked to him earlier this week tho) because I have a release at midnight and our texting cadence to this point has been mostly just to plan dates so I’m not sure how tf he jumped to that conclusion. How am I even supposed to respond to that?!?!?!
