Let’s say I’ve reached out to an internal recruiter or CD directly (either responding to posts or cold email) and didn’t get a response. Then a month or two later a headhunter contacts me.....

Please let the headhunter know you may have already applied to the headhunter's client. Then the headhunter can ask first and not waste your and his or her time for submitting a familiar candidate. Also, you look like you're trying to pull something sneaky by not telling the headhunter and the agency recruiter will think you're either deceitful and trying to slip in through a headhunter or dumb and forgot where you applied.

I’ve been in that situation before. It’s like your previous emails went into the black hole so the headhunter is fair game.

They probably never opened your book. Give it a go.

(Cont.)... about a position at that same agency. Any point to giving the headhunter a shot?

Also, I know they normally can’t really submit if I’ve had contact within 6 months or so, but does that apply if there was no response?

Hello Fishes,
I am much stressed.. it’s only been 5 months to join Capgemini. I joined in as cyber security consultant with good package.
However, the work I do the tricks, logics and solutions I share with team to apply in the project… all are of no use when discussed with the architect guy. The whole team rely upon the wordings/solutions suggested by him only. It feels like my skill/knowledge and experience is of no use.
I feel like what am I doing here….? Any suggestions please.

Most of my freelance work over the past three years has been cannabis industry related. I was hired in the beginning of November in-house for a growing brand. (pun not intended) It feels like the wild west where anything goes and most people seem to be winging it.

So much potential to do great work, but nothing I would show or be proud of. I did better work as a consultant.

Anyone else working on the Brand side of the cannabis industry? Thoughts?

An agency interviews you for 3 rounds (job involves a move). Is there value in saying “I have an offer” just to get them to say yes or no, so you can finally know if you’re moving or staying?
