What salary should I target moving to industry? I have no idea what is reasonable. I’m in a HCOL area, senior with 3 years of experience. Currently making 100k in public.
Hi! I want to exit out of consulting with almost 4 years under my belt. I’m mainly looking for product manager roles but debating going into SWE (after studying). I’ve applied to so many roles externally but rarely get call backs. How can I increase the number of interviews I’m getting or be seen as a competitive applicant?
How do you compare offers with Equity RSUs vs. typical bonus structure? My first time interviewing with a company that offers RSUs. Which of these offers would be better? 1. 130k base + 20% bonus 2. 125k base + 56-75k RSU over 4 year period
For anyone that went from a BDR role to a BDR manager role, how did you make the transition? I have 4 years of BDR experience unofficial team lead experience but no other leadership experience yet. I do not want to become an account executive so this seems like it might be the best path for me at this point to get to the next step in my career. Advice?

Any idea of Sr. director salary band at Gilead?
Got a job offer at a mid tier firm in another city, somewhat lower cost of living, 15% bump with sign on bonus. I’m an A2. My only concern is that I’m taking a step back from big 4 and missing out on opportunities to learn. If things don’t go well is it easy to come back?
I’m trying to make the jump from agency > platform (not FB…more like Spotify or Twitter etc.). I work with reps at these places as part of my job, but technically their loyalty is to my clients (the ones spending $ on their platform), not to me, working at the client’s creative agency. So it feels weird asking them for a recommendation or referral, but that would obviously be easier than applying on the jobs site... How do I utilize my “network” without making things awkward?
77 hours from the next super bonus tier. I have about 25 pro bono hours that I could do, and I have about 12 billable hours that I will do. No real Christmas plans. Worth scrounging up those last 40?
Gar nichts los in DE?
Message me if you need a Deloitte referral 👍
New AWMA... curious to know what a reasonable salary expectation is and what the growth looks like for an associate within a growing ensemble. For context, background is more analytical, taking CAIA level 2 in a couple weeks, then plan on pursuing CFA.
Does anyone know the salary range for strategy manager at Accenture in Canada? Interested in the team and a role they just posted, any insight would be so helpful!
Cool areas for new hires to be in? Starting my first role in the Midwest after graduation as an analyst
Client was at a desired exit, had weekly interactions with the team there, and project ended well. Any recommended next steps, ultimately would like a role there but perhaps not this team.
Anyone have insight on WLB and interview process for a Business dev and Strategy role? Have an interview for Senior BA role with them. Azure and AI team (sales strategy) Recruiter told me no cases, only behavioral! But wanted to make sure he didn't sound 100% sure. Thanks! Was quoted 130-180k range for base. I have 5yoe and Masters (non MBA) Current TC at Cap1: $110k + $8k bonus but with an incredible WLB (35-40 hrs a week) Microsoft
Hello Everyone! Had a discussion yesterday regarding “claw backs” being included in a policy for sponsorship if the new employee leaves before 3 years. It was a declining percentage over a three year period. My POV was that it wasn’t something I’ve ever done and didn’t seem like they were sure of the hire they were making. I get wanting to save costs but at the same time doesn’t feel inclusive or welcoming. Thoughts? Have you done this or seen it work? Thanks!
Hi 🐟s, I need to start prepping for case interviews and looking to find case partners to practice with. Anyone interested in partnering up to practice cases together? My burner is FBBurner2018@gmail
Currently interviewing with Barclays. I made it past the first round interview with the hiring manager and now interviewing with 3 other individuals. The role is a mix of product/strategy/innovation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It seems like harp on their “Barclays values” a lot.
Despite hating unions I would legitimately like to unionize staff at kpmg right now. Pay is so low
Are there any Crowe offices where Tax people work 60 hrs/ week or more during busy seasob? My friend that works for them has been putting 40 - 45 hrs. I think I like their culture, if that's the norm.
Can you negotiate salary for full time associate offers in big 4 right now? Does it look insensitive?
For those who have been in recruiting and have pivoted into a different career path, what did you transition into doing instead?
Got an interview with McKinsey….. advice?
Legal question for internationals. Is it ok to work remotely as freelance from US agency without working visa? I will be in the US for vacations.
EY folks please help me. I am confused. For maternity leave in the state of CA: We have disability leave, EY parental leave, and optional CA paid family leave. Which one comes first? Say I want to....
My current H-1B with PwC expires in July 2023. I also have an approved I-140 from over a year ago. Green card isn’t close since I’m an Indian citizen. I’m switching jobs and wanted to check if the H-1B transfer with my new company will give me a fresh new 3 years (up until Oct 2024) or up until the end date of my current H-1B (July 2023). Recruiter isn’t sure and is checking with their immigration firm. I haven’t found anything definitely online to validate their answer when I get one. Thanks!
Curious if anyone out there had a quarantine baby? Planned or unplanned? How was the experience?
I asked my CFO (given they have worked with many HR) - what do the best HR do? They said HR can stay out of the fray. What does that mean to you? And what are your best techniques to being effective while staying out of the fray?
