Considering a position at Goldman entering my 3rd year as an advisory manager. What would equivalent level be at Goldman
Looking to boomerang back to PwC. The offer for a salaried position was pretty solid, but that one-time sign on bonus will go away the next year (obviously). They mentioned ‘Talent-Exchange’ and getting paid hourly with no benefits. If I did that, I would make about 205k (gross, with no benefits). That’s assuming I would average 55 hours a week throughout the year (pretty similar to what I work right now). Anyone have experience doing this? I’m worried averaging 55 is not possible.
I'm happy in my role/salary, find it rewarding and the right work-life balance. My friends however, are talented and awesome so they've been rising up in their jobs and so, have a higher disposable income. When we go out especially on special occasions like trips/getaways, I'm starting to feel the pinch. They've been understanding and even give notice when it's a special occasion coming up where they want to splurge. If I don't go, it's fine but how do I spend time with them if everything is $$?
Hi All, does anyone here work at Google or Facebook and could provide a referral? I know it’s a long shot but I’m aiming for growth marketing/partner management roles. Background in paid media, SEO and affiliate marketing at agencies and client side. [Google + Facebook]
Unicorn tech startup in Europe. How much does the director level make? Hiring manager asks for salary expectation, what should I say? I’m think of giving her a range because she’s hiring for several roles and I could be a fit for 2-3 roles possibly, trying to determine best fit. Currently EM level, 6 months away from Associate Partner
Looking for some advice on making a career switch. Currently in FP&A for a fintech company making $80k a year with a 10% bonus and options that are exercisable when the company goes public. I have been with this company a little under a year. I just received an offer to join a boutique consulting firm that would draw on my current financial and technical experience. Compensation is $100k a year with a 20% bonus. I love my current company, but is this a no brainer? Should I ask for a counter?

I’ve heard the recruiting strategy at lots of firms is changing from MBA to experienced hires and PHDs. I see that is true at MBB but what about Big 4 and smaller firms?
I’m looking for a referral to a Certified Financial Planner. I want someone to help me paint my full financial picture, and start to lay out what the next 30 years look like wrt kids college, FIRE, Etc…. Thanks y’all.
I’m 24 years old and will make about 90k this year. Very happy with that and content with where I am now as opposed to this time last year. I understand it’s not all about the money, and I have a VERY good WLB that is non negotiable for me in my career, but I am curious at what point in your life did you stop chasing the money as much? Was it once you hit a certain salary? Or once you reached a certain milestone? Or another reason? Or never!?
Fishes, need an advice. SO and I have pre-tax salary of $180k. Cleared out all debt recently (education, marriage etc.).15% goes to regular 401k. Confused whether/not to buy dream home of $460k (with closing cost). Numbers at 3% rate and 10k down payment looks doable. Needs suggestion if we need to consider any other points. Buyer mkt in my area (NC) is crazy. Same home would have been 15k cheaper 2 months ago. Rising prices adds more concern to us. we are 1st time home buyers and both on H1Bs
Hello Fishes, Hope you all are great! I need a referral in PwC India, PwC. Anybody who would be kind to volunteer? I would be grateful. Thank you.

Thoughts on DayBlink? Got reached out to by a recruiter. Wanted to know compensation for someone with 3 YOE. Culture of the firm, the type of work etc Dayblink Consulting
If a recruiter asks me if I’ve spoken to another recruiter at the company, is it okay if I lie and say no? Or should I just be honest and say yes? I’ve heard of instances where candidates have been ghosted if they say they’ve been in contact with another recruiter. In my case, the recruiter I was in contact with messaged me on LinkedIn and never followed up after our 5 minute phone conversation. I really want this job so I don’t want to mess anything up before getting an interview.
Hi Baby Lawyer here, I recently got a job in-house and feel like I know nothing and was wondering if anyone had any books/resources/ advice on how to get more knowledge. I don’t want to do a bad job, and they were specifically looking for someone with little experience so they can train them but feel like I don’t know enough to be helpful.
Anyone here recently exit to Dell?
Culture question. I’ve always been environment where you get your work done, bill your hours, you’re good. This new job is focused on hours in the office. Is this normal? More in comments
