How do you negotiate bonus and profit sharing in an offer? What should be considered? Do companies estimate what those will total to contribute to your overall compensation? Thanks!!
Sr. Associate at a big4 in RC financial services in tier 3 city making $108kGot a job offer at PwC for M1 in RC financial services at $122k with $15k sign-on bonus. Is the PwC offer reasonable or low?
How much did everyone get in LTI/stocks with their bonus? I got 8k RSU to vest over 3 years and I don’t feel impressed. Also got double that in options but idk how to value that
Hello future managers. We heard your feedback! We will be reducing your bonus from 25% to 20%!
Just found out my PTO payout when I left the firm got taxed like a bonus. I wish I would have used all my PTO and then put in my two weeks notice smh.
Have an offer in hand for an AmLaw100 lockstep. Corporate / M&A mid level associate. Didn’t use a recruiter (attorney referral from inside firm). Mostly satisfied with the offer. Procedurally how should I go about negotiating things like signing bonus, full bonus vs pro rated bonus / Covid bonus eligibility? Obviously this would normally be done recruiter to recruiter. Do I contact the internal recruiter or one of the head partners I interviewed with? Email vs call?
Have an offer at $145k... Originally I asked for $125-130 with 10k sign-on. Am I petty for asking a sign-on bonus with the current offer? I asked and they said no.
Got an offer for a Corp Strategy and Development Senior Manager position at a tech company in a Tier 2 city for $145k base, 15% bonus. Is this a reasonable offer or can I push for more? ~9 total yoe, 5 years directly relevant.
Moving to a new job in Austin. Make about 150k base, 50-150k bonus. How much should I budget for rent? Is a Model 3 a wise purchase for a car with good resale value? Inexperienced driver so figuring the autopilot may be invaluable. 23M, single.
What kind of comp can I expect in an investing role at large hedge funds (Millennium, P72, etc.)? I have two years experience already in asset management, so wanted to see what base/bonus ask would be reasonable.
Was consistently given feedback throughout the year that I am a high performer and was also offered a third year return, only to find out that my bonus is bottom bucket. Is this a joke?
I have an offer from a tech company for an internal audit position. Currently working in external audit. Current: 12.8L Offered: 18L including bonus and stock compensation. Thoughts?
How are the hikes and bonus to Deloitte USI S&O compared to Deloitte Cloud practice (Oracle, SAP)? Are they same for all the capabilities? I heard S&O is one of best capability within Deloitte USI. That's the reason behind this question.
My offer letter from HCL has two variable pay components- 1) Performance bonus 2) Engagement PB(paid monthly). Do I expect the second one to be paid monthly and the first one once a year? Also they have flex basket and food wallet, are these also paid monthly?
My question is, is there a way to negotiate for a higher base pay without having a counteroffer on the table? I am expecting a potential offer from EY this week but I’d like to know how to negotiate for a higher base pay, annual % raise, and a sign-on bonus. I need help guys, bc it would be painful to be lowballed again

What household income would you need to be comfortable buying an 800k house? Assuming no other debt. Know there are many other factors besides HHI, just taking the temperature here
Change my mind: Blanket student loan forgiveness would be borderline immoral. It’d be a giveaway to the most educated and, generally, most wealthy people in society. Plus unnecessary given that we can give relief to those really struggling by using or expanding existing loan forgiveness and income based repayment programs.
What's one company you would never work for?
Without saying your age, what is something you remember from your childhood that a younger person would not understand?
Best life lesson I learned from Deloitte: don’t ever, EVER sign a contract that demands you return the sign on bonus if you leave within a year. I thought to myself, “I would never leave a company within a year”, but I grossly underestimated how much I could hate a job.
