Let's talk about pediatric COVID-19 cases. I know the talking heads keep saying kids never get sick, but what are you seeing?

We had one really sick kiddo with COVID-19 in the PICU. There was talk of ECMO.

I haven't seen any issues with pediatric patients in Ohio.

Ive had positive pediatric cases in NJ, nothing too bad thankfully.

The only talking heads saying kids don't get sick are the Trumpsters who downplay everything because they don't want Trump to look bad and lose the election. Knowledgable and responsible talking heads say it is a possibility. I've seen several children's deaths in news lately.

Nothing with kids in so illinois not even positive covid cases in kids

Feeling a bit down after a negative pregnancy test today - we’ve officially passed the six month mark of TTC. I’m 33, progesterone, prolactin, and thyroid all look normal but my cycles suck. They will regularly stretch into the 40 - 50 day range but OB seems really unconcerned. I keep getting the “it’s totally normal to take this long” 😕 I’m scared we’ll waste a year just to find out there is a problem.

I am trying to move from my farming role back to an outbound prospecting position. Do we know if there is a sponsoring partner that oversees this benefit/ program that I could have more of a heart to heart conversation with? Not getting too far with the general email box and admin contact. From the benefit policy documentation, my understanding is that EY reimburses employees for surrogacy / adoption related expenses up to $50k lifetime. However, anything related to IVF or medical procedures has to go through insurance (also limited to $50k lifetime benefit). Continued…

Friend delayed her wedding due to coronavirus concerns. Was going to be in September of this year and now it’s going to be September 2021.

She wants the bridal party to ‘stay excited’ though and host bimonthly events (virtually for now) in the meantime starting now and leading up to it.
I feel bad but I’m already incredibly exhausted with work post-round 2 of layoffs and dealing with my family. I almost want to bow out of being a bridesmaid...

Applying to jobs online doesn’t work.

Here’s a better way:

Before a job is posted, it’s talked about among hiring managers and HR.

This is the hidden job market at every company.

You want your name to be in those discussions.

You get your name in those discussions by having conversations with hiring managers and HR at your target companies.

It’s one of the steps in my #CareerBlueprint program which I designed to help get you out of the apply-pray-reject cycle.

Additional Posts in COVID-19 Healthcare

Hi, so I got a call regarding a care coordinator position in California. They said the start pay is $20 per hour. I have some background with patients, I work as a nurse assistant (1 year experience) and have a bachelors in Healthcare management, plus worked in a front desk in a dental office. Is 20$ fair as a start? They said it's based on experience. I do want to move on honestly, because I work 12 hour shifts. And want 8-5 position. Should I just go for it if they give me that offer?
