Go for international tax. Cover a bit of everything.
We transferred a few people from WMTS to AWM for rotations and they did well.
I used to be on salt am at big 4. Did not like it much. Still in salt but at national firm
I do a mix of partnerships and c corps. Hated doing only partnerships. Also get a chance to do consulting instead of compliance all the time. For me i prefer salt over fed but I realize salt jobs are harder to find in industry

PCS is good experience. If you work within the corporate/partnership side. Can go in house at private companies in industry too
What do you want to do in 5 or 10 years? Your current experience will lead you to your next opportunity. I would move to a group that will align with my future goal.
That’s the thing. I don’t know what I want to do. At this moment I know what I don’t want to do, but also have a few areas that interest me, however it’s one thing to read a job description and another to do the actual work.
I focus on real estate - mostly pships with some blocker corps. I love it. I have always been interested in real estate and I love seeing the different varieties of real estate - commercial, residential, hospitality, etc. At my firm I do a lot of SALT returns in addition to Fed, which I also enjoy.
Why don’t you want to do M&A?

RE is just as bad if not worse hours wise than AWM. But it is less mundane IMO.
