Porsche 10/10. Porsche is in a completely different class from a handling prospective and overall driver experience. Resale value is far better on the Porsche as well.
Have you driven both?
Yup, agree with A1, resale on the Porsche should be a lot stronger than that particular Lexus. If it were LX vs Cayenne, I’d say LX, but as you’re in the market for a 2 door, 911 all day.
I daily a 991.2 gt3 touring during the non snow months. I wouldn't worry at all about the drivability (it's comfortable, enough space for shopping or weekend away, and if you get awd you can use it all year)
Lol - the gt3 is from a good equity event pre-bcg :)

I'm personally not a Porsche fan; not really a Lexus fan, either, but I prefer them to Porsche in this scenario, so I'd take the Lexus.
Porsches are so common, I feel like could be refreshing to have something a bit more unique. On a daily basis I doubt you’d notice the better handling/characteristics on the Porsche
Bruh no there not. Atleast the higher specd ones. People love to buy base luxury cars that’s why you hardly see s classes rolling around
I love Porsche. My dad collected them. My favorite car I ever owned was a 1972 911S.
But the LC500 is just different. It’s not a track tool like a 911, doesn’t have the edge, and it’s certainly weird on paper. The 10 speed automatic is not a close ratio unit where you rip through all of the gears. I believe the top four are actually all nearly 1:1 or overdrive.
Go drive one. It’s on my bucket list. It’s just good in ways that are hard to describe. The quality of the engineering, the interior components, how it sounds, the power delivery… everything. It’s special.
911 any day of the week. My base 911 well spec’d is about $130K and will come in 6 weeks. I cannot wait and had no doubts when I went through a similar process!

Get Carrera S at least. Base lack a bit of power and resale for base is not as great as Carrera S. I am on my 2nd Porsche and love them over any other brand. Porsche Carrera and S can be daily. Here is my current 16 Carrera base
I like the lc500 more. I love the interior and exterior design, and the exhaust sounds amazing.

911 manual transmission. Thank me later, then again in 10-15 years
The LC is milquetoast compared to a 911. One is a luxurious GT cruiser whereas the other is the industry standard that every one else is measured against
If you are a car guy, which I assume you are being in this bowl, it should be no question that the Porsche is the way to go.
I love the LC500, but the Porsche pedigree will always outshine a Lexus.
