How do you feel about Seattle and would you recommend moving here? Considering from DC - primarily for family reasons, although my family isn’t in WA, but it’s the closest American city to them in western Canada. I’ve lived in DC, Boston, NY for a decade, and appreciate good transit, walkability, great and diverse restaurants, etc. I’m fearful that I won’t like Seattle because it’s car-dependent, a bit more homogenous, etc. I love the mountains and outdoor activities but not in winter (cont’d)

Sending good vibes to people who want to change. There are lots of amazing opportunities outside. Keep looking and don’t lose momentum. Market is still very hot. You don’t want to miss one of the greatest job market in decades. Challenge yourself to get aspirational roles that you have been thinking, at least 1.5 to 2 times money, and better WLB. You might get all of these. Even if you get one of the above, it’s still a win. Good luck!
